Insult to injury, or injury to insult, perhaps

Careful...carrrrefulllllll

Careful...carrrrefulllllll!

I’m no golfer, but I imagine it’s gotta suck when you drive a ball into the pond and lose a stroke. How much more would it suck if you reached in to retrieve it and had your arm ripped off by an alligator? Unfortunately, that’s what reportedly happened to a man at a private South Carolina course this week.

According to ESPN.com, a man in his seventies was fishing his ball out of the water when he was pulled in by the gator, which tossed him around before he was rescued by his golf partners. Well, at least they salvaged three of his limbs. Apparently the vicious beast was put down and the arm was retrieved with hopes of reattaching it.
