Say it ain’t so, Manny

Manny, pondering how he's going to spend the next two months

I don’t recall the moment in my childhood when I discovered there was no Santa Claus, but I imagine it felt something like this — Manny Ramirez has been suspended 50 games for violating Major League Baseball’s drug policy.

According to Manny’s camp, he’s not on steroids but instead is taking a prescribed medication for a legitimate health issue. That’s certainly possible, although a few sources have told ESPN the drug Ramirez tested positive for is human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a women’s fertility drug that’s often taken by steroid users to moderate testosterone levels, or in other words, to avoid the development of “bitch tits”. Anyway, that’s all we know for now — much, much more to come.

  1. Heard his “legitimate health issue” was that he couldn’t get his soldier to salute (also a side effect of the lower testosterone levels caused by steriod use.)

…so I guess Manny was suspended for “corking his bat”?

  2. Haha…corking his bat, that’s pretty good…
